but no... for now, this hunt isn't for me.

That and my belly is so darn big that I just can't sleep no matter what, so I might as well be too excited for it!
Our camera (tear) started slowly breaking a while ago and I was actually promised a new one for my birthday in Feb, but with the move and the baby and ___(insert)___ whatever else excuse we decided that we shouldn't spend the money just now.
I pretended to agree, but in my heart of hearts I just knew that a camera was in my destiny sooner rather than later :)
So the big question-
WHAT KIND OF DLSR SHOULD I GET?

I just got the Pentax KX. LOVE IT!!! I know Canon and Nikon have the market pretty well cornered, but there is one thing the Pentax has over them, you can use your old Pentax 35 mm lenses on the new Pentax DSLR (an adapter may be needed). It doesn't allow you to do auto focus, but who cares, especially when you can pick up 35 mm lenses for super cheap on craigslist. Also, the price isn't bad. I picked mine up at BHphoto online. It also comes in all sorts of awesome colors. Mine is red.
